Job summary

Atlas is seeking an Area Manager to lead cleaning operations across multiple sites in Cornwall. You will be responsible for delivering high standards of service, managing budgets, and driving performance across a fast-paced multi-site estate.

You will recruit, train and manage teams, engage clients, and ensure compliance with health and safety and data protection requirements. This role requires travel across sites and a hands-on leadership approach.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multi-site cleaning or facilities teams.
• Strong client management and relationship-building.
• Ability to manage budgets and control costs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across multiple sites.
• DBS check/enhanced disclosure may be required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple sites to ensure service delivery standards.
• Engage with clients and conduct regular performance reviews and site visits.
• Lead recruitment, induction, and staff development to maintain high performance.
• Manage wage spend, labour utilisation, and reporting on site performance.
• Ensure health and safety compliance across all sites and maintain documentation.
