Job summary

Flying High Partnership seeks an exceptional Inclusion Lead Practitioner to join our Education Team on a one-year secondment. You will shape and deliver our Inclusion Strategy, supporting schools to strengthen SEND, attendance and behaviour across 39 schools in the partnership.

You will lead professional learning, coach SENDCos and Inclusion leaders, and contribute to inclusion reviews and improvement planning while maintaining an in-school inclusion leadership role for part of the week.

Qualifications

  • Strong track record of successful Inclusion leadership and improving outcomes for children.
  • Hold QTS and the National Award for SENDCos and/or NPQ SEND.
  • Extensive knowledge of SEND, attendance, behaviour and inclusive practice.
  • Skilled in coaching, mentoring and developing others.

Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of the Partnership's Inclusion Strategy across SEND, Attendance and Behaviour.
  • Provide targeted support to schools, including those requiring rapid improvement.
  • Coach and develop SENDCos, Attendance Champions, Behaviour Leads, and school leaders.
  • Lead inclusion reviews, QA activities, and improvement planning.
  • Support schools with complex inclusion cases and decision-making.
  • Develop and deliver professional learning for leaders, teachers and support staff.
  • Build partnerships with external agencies and specialist services.
  • Identify and share excellent inclusion practice across the partnership.
  • Contribute to Partnership-wide systems and resources for inclusion.
