Job summary

GSF Car Parts is seeking a General Assistant to support daily branch operations across delivery, warehouse and counter sales. You will help customers face-to-face, process click and collect orders and contribute to hitting branch targets.

This role requires flexibility, a proactive attitude, and a full UK driving licence. Knowledge of car parts is helpful, and familiarity with systems like MAM or MS Office is desirable.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a customer-facing role.
• Full UK driving licence (or ability to drive).
• Knowledge of car parts is advantageous.
• Comfort with IT systems for order processing and stock management.
• Ability to work across delivery driving, warehouse and counter sales.
• Strong teamwork and customer service focus.
• Familiarity with MAM, Allicat or MS Office is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts to customers safely and on time.
• Serve trade and retail customers at the counter and handle enquiries.
• Pick and pack parts from the warehouse.
• Support click and collect orders and assist customers.
• Assist the sales team with product promotions and queries.
• Handle customer returns and warranty-related queries.
• Maintain organisation and health & safety standards.
• Work towards KPIs and sales targets.
• Develop relationships with customers and understand their needs.
• Promote the company image and values.
