Job summary

Walker & Sloan is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of live construction schemes across the North West, North East, Scottish Borders and Scotland. You will balance multiple projects with autonomy, focusing on programme, procurement, client relationships and commercial performance.

You will regularly visit sites, proactively identify risks, coordinate resources, and work with Site Managers to ensure on-time delivery and profitable handover.

Qualifications

• Experience managing several live construction projects.
• SMSTS and CSCS Card preferred.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Commercial awareness and strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of live projects across the North West, North East, Scottish Borders and Scotland.
• Manage programme, procurement, and client relationships to keep projects on track and profitable.
• Visit live sites regularly to monitor progress, identify risks early and coordinate resources.
• Coordinate with commercial and operational teams and ensure successful handover.
