Job summary

Supply Desk is partnering with a welcoming primary school in West Drayton to appoint a passionate PPA Teacher who can deliver across EYFS to KS2 and provide release time for class teachers. This role is available as both full-time and part-time with an ASAP start on the MPS/UPS scale.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching within a primary school setting.
• Broad understanding of the EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curricula.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Flexible, adaptable, and confident teaching across different year groups.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Beaconsfield area (HP9) availability from September.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons across a range of year groups in line with the National Curriculum.
• Provide high-quality cover for teachers during PPA time, ensuring continuity of learning.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of pupils across different key stages.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Support pupils with SEN and maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning.
• Assess and provide feedback on pupils’ progress where appropriate.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, parents, and carers.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider School team.
