Job summary

Menzies Distribution Solutions is seeking an experienced Multi Drop Van Driver to join our team at the East Kilbride depot, delivering to Patients in Central Belt Scotland. You will load your own van and complete about 40–60 drops daily, with start times between 06:00 and 08:00 and a 9-hour shift.

The role offers 45 hours per week with overtime on offer, Monday to Friday and occasional Saturdays before Christmas. A current driving licence with up to 6 points and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current driving licence with no more than 6 points and no DD or DR offences.
• Experience within a multi-drop environment is essential.
• Good timekeeping and ability to work unsupervised.
• Good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude are required.

Multi Drop Van Driver

Menzies Distribution Solutions are looking for an experienced Multi Drop Van Driver to join our team. You'll be working on behalf ofMenzies Distribution Solutions and its customers at our depot in East Kilbride delivering to Patients in Central Belt Scotland.

THE DETAILS

• Salary: £29,844.35 Per Annum / £12.71 Per Hour. Overtime paid at flat rate
• Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, with notice occasional weekend work is required. PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A REQUIREMENT TO WORK THE 4 SATURDAYS ON THE RUN UP TO CHRISTMAS
• Start Times: between 06:00 - 08:00
• Length of Shift: 9 Hours
• Hours: 45 Hours Per Week

THE ROLE

• You will be delivering to Houses and Care Homes due to the nature of the client
• On average you will complete around 40-60 drops per day
• You will need a reasonable level of physical fitness as you are required to load your own vans and some of the deliveries are to flats
• The areas of delivery are grouped in postcodes.
• There are instructions to follow for each delivery and the successful applicant will need to be presentable, patient and have good communication skills.

DELIVERY DRIVER DUTIES

• You will be responsible for the accurate and timely movement and delivery of our customers products.
• Adhering to safe working practices to ensure the safety of yourself and others at all times.
• A flexible approach to working patterns and start times as dictated by the needs of the business.
• Safe manual handling where required

DELIVERY DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
