Job Title: Multi Drop Van Driver

Location: Burwell

Hours per week: 48hrs M/T/W/TH/F and Sat

Salary: £35,842.56

Job Purpose:

To ensure the speedy, efficient, and accurate delivery of pharmaceuticals to pharmacies and hospitals.

Key Accountabilities

• To maintain a safe and competent standard of driving, observing speed limits and other traffic signs and giving due regard to other road users.
• To perform daily checks to ensure that your vehicle is in a roadworthy condition, including lights, brakes, coolant, etc.
• To report any faults, breakdowns, accidents, or delays.
• To maintain the internal and external condition of the vehicle along with its cleanliness.
• To ensure sufficient quantities of fuel are taken for the day's work.
• To maintain the security of the vehicle and its contents at all times.
• To check all orders on the drop sheets and ensure all are loaded on the vehicle.
• To collect goods returned for credit, mail, delivery bins, and their safe return to the branch as instructed.
• To deal with damages or breakages promptly and correctly, especially for HazChem items.
• To maintain a smart appearance.
• To help foster good customer relations.
• To undertake other duties including warehouse tasks as defined by management.
• To meet all Health & Safety requirements.

Essential

• A full driving license relevant to the vehicle being driven.
• Assessment of license points may affect shortlisting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer care.
• Intermediate numeracy and literacy skills.

Desirable

• Previous experience in multi-drop delivery driving.
• Route planning experience.
