HGV Refuse & Recycle Driver / Loader, London

Serco’s Environmental Services provide a complete waste and recycling service on behalf of the residents and community in Wandsworth. We ensure streets, homes, and businesses are kept clean, safe, and tidy, while providing excellent customer service. We are currently looking for dedicated HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our team of essential workers and help make a positive environmental impact.

Job Details

Location: Wandsworth, London SW0 0LF

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 6am start (exact hours to be confirmed)

Job Responsibilities

1. Perform vehicle safety checks and maintain cleanliness of trucks.
2. Collect waste and recycling from residential and commercial properties along pre-planned routes.
3. Represent Serco’s Environmental Services positively within the community.
4. Assist Loaders when necessary to meet team targets.

Candidate Requirements

• Valid Class 2 driving license and Driver CPC.
• Enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and willingness to help the team.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to deal with the public.
• Physical fitness to handle heavy lifting and walking.
• Previous experience in refuse collection is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
