Job summary

SGS is seeking a Multi-Skilled Asbestos Consultant to support a diverse client base across sectors. You will perform asbestos surveys, sampling, risk assessments and report writing with a focus on accuracy and safety.

The role requires driving to client sites, identifying ACMs, and delivering practical, compliant advice. Candidates should have RSPH Level 3 or P402/P403/P404 qualifications and a driving license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months relevant work experience in Asbestos Surveying.
• RSPH Level 3 Certificate in Asbestos Surveying or P402/P403 & P404 qualifications.
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out asbestos surveys, sampling activities, and risk assessments per contractual and best practice standards.
• Identify ACMs, assess risks, and provide clear management or remediation recommendations.
• Produce accurate survey reports and ensure samples and reports are completed within agreed timescales.
• Travel to and work on client sites, maintaining professional and compliant service.

We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Asbestos Consultant to join our team, supporting clients across a diverse range of sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced asbestos professional who enjoys working across different types of consultancy, surveying and client-facing activities.

• Carry out asbestos surveys, sampling activities, and risk assessments in line with contractual requirements and industry best practice.
• Identify asbestos-containing materials (ACMs), assess associated risks, and provide clear recommendations on management or remediation measures.
• Produce accurate survey reports and ensure samples are processed and reports completed within agreed timescales.
  The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is technically knowledgeable, safety-focused and highly detail-oriented. You'll be confident working independently, travelling to and working on client sites; assessing asbestos risks and providing practical, compliant advice with a professional approach, RSPH Level 3 Certificate in Asbestos Surveying OR P402 Qualification & P403 & P404 Qualification
• Full Driving License for use in the UK
