Job summary

SGS is seeking a Multi-Skilled Asbestos Consultant to support clients across varied sectors, performing surveys, sampling, risk assessments, and reporting. This field-based role requires travel to client sites in the West Midlands and surrounding areas, with Monday–Friday hours and a base salary of £35,000 per annum plus a company vehicle.

Ideal candidates will have RSPH Level 3 or P402/P403/P404 qualifications, a full UK driving licence, and at least 6 months of asbestos surveying experience.

Qualifications

• Experience carrying out asbestos surveys, sampling, and risk assessments.
• Identify ACMs, assess risks, and provide management or remediation recommendations.
• Produce survey reports and ensure timely processing of samples and reports.

Responsibilities

• Carry out asbestos surveys, sampling activities, and risk assessments in line with contractual requirements and industry best practice.
• Identify asbestos-containing materials (ACMs), assess associated risks, and provide clear recommendations on management or remediation measures.
• Produce accurate survey reports and ensure samples are processed and reports completed within agreed timescales.
