Job summary

New City College is seeking two enthusiastic Multi-Craft Technicians for the Rainham Campus Construction department. This hands-on role focuses on practical skills, safety, and equipment readiness to support student learning in plumbing, electrical, brickwork or wood trades.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in a relevant trade and skills across Plumbing, Electrical, Brickwork or Wood trades.
• Good organisational skills and knowledge of health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tools, materials, and equipment for practical classes, assessments, and exams
• Ensure safety and accessibility of machines and tools for students
• Order and monitor tools and materials, maintain and repair equipment
• Assist teaching staff and monitor students for safe working practices
• Organise and store equipment according to College policy, dispose of waste materials safely
