Job summary

Kingston Barnes Engineering is recruiting an experienced CNC Miller for a leading aerospace components manufacturer. You will set and operate 3-, 4- and 5-axis milling machines using Heidenhain and Fanuc controls, read drawings and set tools and offsets, ensuring components meet drawings and customer specifications.

The role demands high precision, strong problem-solving skills and teamwork. A variety of shifts are available with competitive hourly rates and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience setting and operating 3-, 4- and 5-axis CNC milling machines.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, plug gauges).
• Knowledge of Heidenhain and/or Fanuc controls and setups.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC 3, 4 and 5 axis milling machines using Heidenhain and/or Fanuc controls.
• Set work offsets, tooling, fixtures and workpieces; use probes and manual methods.
• Produce complex components to drawing tolerances and customer requirements.
• Read drawings and production documentation; monitor processes and adjust tooling as needed.
• Use inspection equipment to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality.
• Maintain records and adhere to health, safety and quality procedures.
