Aspion is seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join our aerospace and defence manufacturing team in Glasgow. You will set up and operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines, interpreting engineering drawings and process sheets to produce high-precision components.

The role requires strong G-code knowledge and experience with Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain or Mazatrol controls, and a track record of maintaining tight tolerances with precision inspection tools.rotate shifts and contribute to

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines.
• Strong understanding of G-code and CNC controls (Fanuc/Siemens/Heidenhain/Mazatrol).
• Time-served in a machining discipline, preferably aerospace or high-precision.
• Experience with precision inspection and measuring equipment; ability to read engineering drawings.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines.
• Interpret drawings, process sheets, blueprints and work instructions.
• Identify tooling and set up requirements; monitor tolerances and adjust as needed.
• Perform quality inspections and dimensional verification throughout production.
• Maintain lean manufacturing standards and 5S in the workplace.
• Collaborate with a team to improve productivity and ensure on-time delivery.
