Job summary

Kingston Barnes Engineering seeks an experienced CNC Miller for a leading aerospace components manufacturer. You will set and operate 3–5 axis milling machines, read drawings and adjust tooling to meet tight tolerances.

You will use Heidenhain and/or Fanuc controls, produce precise components, and work to production schedules. A strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential, with shift patterns including day, late and rotating options.

Qualifications

• Experience operating 3-, 4- and 5-axis CNC milling machines.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC milling machines with appropriate offsets, tooling and fixtures.
• Produce complex components to drawing tolerances and customer requirements.
• Inspect using precision measuring equipment to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Meet production times, quality requirements and delivery schedules.
• Support continuous improvement and 5S in a safe working environment.
