Crg Tec in Ormskirk is seeking a 2nd Line IT Engineer for an MSP role. You will handle escalated tickets, troubleshoot complex issues, and support less experienced engineers, across Windows desktops and servers, Active Directory, Azure AD, networking, and backups.

You’ll manage tickets to resolution, monitor customer environments, perform patch management, antivirus, and help with installations. Occasional site visits possible; strong communication with customers is essential in this busy,

Formación

• Experience in MSP or similar IT support environment.
• Solid grounding across Windows OS, Active Directory and cloud environments.
• Good networking knowledge (DNS/DHCP, TCP/IP) and virtualization basics.
• Excellent customer communication and ticket-management skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot escalated 2nd line tickets across Windows, AD, Azure, and networks.
• Diagnose issues in servers, backups, DNS, DHCP and virtualization (Hyper-V/VMware).
• Monitor customer environments and perform patch management and antivirus duties.
• Manage tickets through resolution and coordinate with 3rd line when needed.
• Occasional on-site visits and assist with deployments and installations.
