Job summary

Brighton MSP is seeking a seasoned 2nd Line Support Engineer to handle escalated tickets and deliver expert resolution across Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, and networking. You will work in a fast-paced MSP setting, supporting multiple clients and owning complex issues end to end.

Requirements include 5+ years in IT support within MSPs, strong MS365/Azure skills, and relevant Microsoft certifications. The role is Brighton-based with opportunities for progression and training support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT support experience, with strong 2nd line MSP background.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365 services: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive.
• Hands-on Azure experience: VMs, Entra ID, cloud infra.
• Good networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, routing.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Microsoft certifications (AZ-104, MS-102 or similar) are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Handle escalated 2nd line tickets across a varied client base, resolving issues efficiently.
• Provide expert support across Microsoft 365 services and Azure environments.
• Manage Windows Server environments including AD, DNS, DHCP; troubleshoot networking issues.
• Document tickets well and keep clients updated throughout resolution.
• Occasionally attend client sites for on-site support and contribute to knowledge base.
