Job summary

EVera Recruitment Ltd is seeking a hands-on Procurement Coordinator to own day-to-day purchasing for a world-class automotive systems manufacturer in Witney. You will ensure accurate orders, supplier deliveries, and clear visibility of components for Production.

This fast-paced role links Procurement with Production, moving from manual purchasing to an automated, MRP-driven process. You will manage POs, chase suppliers, and maintain delivery dates in the MRP system.

Qualifications

• Experience creating and managing purchase orders (POs)
• Experience using MRP/ERP systems for procurement
• Strong Excel skills and data accuracy
• Highly organised with proactive task management

Responsibilities

• Create, issue and maintain purchase orders including MRP-generated requirements
• Obtain quotations and progress orders with approved suppliers
• Proactively chase suppliers to confirm delivery dates for 95%+ of components
• Keep delivery dates and supplier information up to date in MRP/production trackers
• Carry out regular missing-parts audits in Production bays and follow up actions
• Manage the Kanban system and live order sheet to avoid misses or duplicates
• Coordinate with Quality Control and suppliers to resolve non-conforming components
• Escalate late or at-risk orders before they affect Production output
