Job summary

Aldwych Consulting Ltd seeks an MRICS Chartered Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its Edinburgh team. You will deliver cost management across the full lifecycle, working with clients and project teams to ensure successful outcomes.

Responsibilities include pre/post-contract QS services, cost planning, procurement advice, tender management, contract administration and reporting. Mentoring juniors and developing client relationships are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering pre- and post-contract quantity surveying services.
• Strong cost planning, estimating and budgeting capabilities.
• Proven ability to manage procurement, tendering and contract administration.
• Experience in commercial management and reporting to clients.
• Ability to mentor junior team members and build client relationships.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts is preferred.
• Full right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality cost management services across the full project lifecycle.
• Work with clients and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide pre- and post-contract QS services.
• Carry out cost planning, estimating and budgeting.
• Provide procurement advice and manage tenders.
• Administer contracts and manage commercial aspects.
• Prepare valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Mentor junior team members and support business development.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
