Job summary

A Rural Surveying opportunity based in Bath with flexibility to work from Bristol. You will join an established consultancy handling valuation, consultancy, compulsory purchase and expert witness work across Bath, Bristol and surrounding counties.

The role offers variegated responsibilities, client relationship building and clear potential for progression within a dynamic rural portfolio. MRICS qualified with Right to Work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• MRICS qualification and RICS Registered Valuer status.
• 5+ years of post-qualification experience in rural valuation.
• Strong technical, analytical and commercial mindset.
• Excellent report writing and Red Book valuations.
• Organised with attention to detail and deadline discipline.
• Willingness to develop Expert Witness and Compulsory Purchase work.
• Networking and business development skills; local connections preferred.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Valuations for loan security, taxation, charity and estate planning.
• Expert Witness development and instruction.
• Compulsory Purchase advice and consultancy.
• Rural and residential consultancy including landlord and tenant matters.
• Business development and securing new instructions from banks, solicitors and private clients.
• Manage own workload and deadlines delivering high-quality advice.
