Job summary

TED Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Chartered Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager to join a busy SE London/Kent borders office. The role focuses on cost management for high-value residential projects, including cladding remediation, education, healthcare and commercial schemes.

You will be MRICS qualified (or a PM with strong cost-management experience) and capable of pre- and post-contract work, contract administration, procurement and tendering, with robust financial reporting and effective

Qualifications

• MRICS qualified Quantity Surveyor or Project Manager with cost management experience.
• Experience with working for a consultant/PQS firm.
• Experience in cost control, contract administration, procurement and tendering, and financial reporting.
• Able to perform pre- and post-contract work.
• Experience with JCT contracts.
• Ability to organise meetings and take minutes.
• Keen to mix quantity surveying and project management.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work on high-value cladding remediation projects for large residential buildings and other sectors.
• Support cost management and governance across project lifecycles.
• Handle contract administration, procurement and tendering, with financial reporting.
• Take responsibility for pre- and post-contract activities and meetings.
