Qualifications

• HCPC registered clinical scientists with MRI physics experience.
• Full training provided to support the role.
• Opportunity to work toward MR Safety Expert certification.

Responsibilities

• Participate in QA for complex clinical MRI scanners with testing and fault review.
• Evaluate equipment, perform acceptance testing and commissioning.
• Measure QA for UV (phototherapy) systems and contribute to safety procedures.
• Train STP trainees and pre-registration clinicians in MRI, UV, and laser physics.
• Liaise with staff to provide specialized scientific and technical support.
• Ensure staff competence and document training per procedures.
