Job summary

InHealth Group in Eastbourne is seeking a Clinical Assistant to support patient flow from arrival to discharge in the MRI department. You will welcome patients, escort them, and manage pre-scan forms and data entry.

The role requires empathy, strong communication, and the ability to handle a busy clinical environment with flexibility across a 4x9hr shift rota. Starting December 2026, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar healthcare role delivering hands-on patient care.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients, guiding them through arrival to departure.
• Escort patients to the clinical area and explain procedures clearly.
• Complete pre-scan data protection/consent forms and health questionnaires.
• Monitor patient condition after procedures and report changes promptly.
• Maintain patient focus and deliver high-quality care throughout.
• Accurately enter patient data into the management system.
• Assist with cannulation training if required.
• Handle administrative tasks: enquiries, bookings, and invoicing.
