Job summary

TIC Health is seeking an committed Healthcare Assistant to support patients from arrival through to their appointment or scan at our Milton Keynes clinic. You will handle front‑of‑house reception duties while providing clinical support, including phlebotomy and cannulation as trained, under radiographer supervision.

The role requires strong communication and teamwork to ensure a safe, welcoming patient experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a healthcare, clinic, or hospital setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow clinical protocols and instructions accurately.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients on arrival in a friendly, professional manner and check them in.
• Respond to patient queries via email and answer calls appropriately.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures such as CT/MRI and explain what to expect.
• Provide phlebotomy and cannulation as required or trained to do so.
• Assist radiographers with patient positioning during scans.
• Maintain a clean, safe clinical environment and adhere to infection control policies.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to support patient journeys.
• Undertake mandatory training and professional development.
• Travel between clinic branches if required.
