Role Overview

As an experienced MRI Radiographer at our hospital, you must hold a PGC in MRI and be registered with the HCPC. You will work effectively both independently and as part of a team, providing high-quality, patient-centered imaging services. You will join an established, experienced team that performs a wide range of MRI procedures, including specialized studies such as Cardiac MRI and Small Bowel Enterography.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a diverse caseload
• Proficiently operate all equipment within your scope of practice
• Collaborate with leading practitioners using cutting-edge practices and equipment
• Supervise and develop junior colleagues
• Ensure MRI safety in line with local rules
• Work within IRMER guidelines and your scope of practice, adhering to HCPC codes
• Participate in departmental audits and Quality Assurance programs
• Support the Clinical Lead Radiographers
• Maintain equipment safety and report faults per Nuffield Health policy
• Possess competency in intravenous cannulation and contrast media administration
• Contribute to departmental policy reviews and updates
• Comply with all Nuffield Health policies and procedures
• Maintain records according to statutory and organizational requirements
• Participate in on-call rotations
