Job description

Band 5 Therapeutic Radiographer - Sutton Site

Would you like the opportunity to work in the largest cancer centre in Europe, renowned for high-quality patient care, research, and education? The department at Sutton features state-of-the-art equipment, including 6 Elekta linear accelerators, an Elekta MR linear accelerator, Cyberknife unit, Gulmay superficial unit, Radixact units, and advanced imaging technology such as a Siemens Confidence CT scanner, supporting multi-modality imaging for planning.

Role Overview:

  1. The post-holder will perform highly complex radiotherapy processes in various settings, including treatment units, brachytherapy, CT scanners, VS areas, or treatment preparation areas, as prescribed. The role may also involve participation in clinical research activities within the department.
  2. The post-holder will liaise with medical, physics, nursing, clerical, and support staff within the department and across the institution. Key working relationships will be with senior radiographers.
