Job description

Job Title: Radiographer or Technologist in NM and PET/CT

We are seeking a radiographer or technologist with significant experience in NM and PET/CT, who will contribute positively and enthusiastically to the professional running and future development of the department. The post is suitable for a radiographer or technologist keen to experience a wide range of specialties and support the development of the 7-day service, working with state-of-the-art equipment and optimizing image techniques across clinical and research fields.

The role involves work with PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine across the OUH Trust, including weekend work on a rotational basis. Opportunities for personal and professional development are available, and support for weekend services will be required as the service develops.

Department Overview

The Churchill Radiology Department, within the Cancer and Haematology Centre opened in 2009, provides imaging services across various specialties including Oncology, Radiotherapy, Breast, Renal, Urology, Transplantation, Chest Medicine, GI, Head and Neck, Haematology, and Infectious Diseases. The PET/CT department serves a large catchment area across southern England and collaborates with oncology and medical physics teams to provide both diagnostic and therapeutic services.
