Jobs4 in Central London is seeking a Radiology Department Assistant (RDA) to join the private medical imaging team. You will support MRI and CT scanning, working closely with radiographers, doctors and admin staff to maintain a smooth imaging pathway.

You will handle daily ward tasks, patient transfers, clerical duties, stock control and QA activities, while upholding patient confidentiality, infection control and data protection standards.

Formación

• Grade C or above in Maths and English or an equivalent qualification.
• A high standard of verbal and written English.
• Excellent timekeeping.
• Good IT literacy including use of email.
• Previous experience working in a patient or customer facing role.
• Good communication skills with people of all background including a professional telephone manner.
• Ability to accurately record date and information.
• Good team working and interpersonal skills.
• Good organisational skills.
• Ability to effectively and efficiently carry out tasks to meet the requirements of the service.
• To demonstrate compassionate care.

Responsabilidades

• To participate in and support the MRI/CT scanning service on a daily shift basis.
• Liaise with medical and radiographic staff to facilitate workflow and patient flow.
• Assist with patient transfers in line with safety policies.
• Contribute to routine clerical duties and electronic patient records.
• Perform daily checks of examination rooms and stock levels.
• Maintain stock lists and assist with ordering of consumables.
• Support quality assurance and clinical governance activities.
• Ensure personal development and mandatory training compliance.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and infection control standards.
