Job summary

University Hospitals Dorset is recruiting a clinical support worker to assist in preparing and caring for patients undergoing CT and MRI scans at Poole Hospital. You will work alongside the CT & MRI team, helping radiographers, handling IV cannulation (training), and performing light admin tasks. Flexibility across shifts is required.

No prior experience is necessary as full training is provided; Band 2 starting, with progression to Band 3 on competency achievement. Based in Poole.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and care of CT/MRI patients.
• Support radiographers and provide patient comfort.
• Assist with IV cannulation (training provided) and manual handling.
• Handle some administrative tasks.
• Work flexible shifts including weekends and bank holidays.
