Wrexham County Borough Council is seeking a Moving & Handling Advisor within the Occupational Therapy Service in Wrexham. The role involves supporting moving and handling interventions, visiting patients after assessments, and demonstrating equipment to promote safe practice.

We are seeking a Moving & Handling Advisor to join our Occupational Therapy Service. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside Occupational Therapists across a variety of settings, including adults with long-term conditions, learning disabilities, paediatrics, reablement, and hospital discharge services.
You will support the delivery of the Moving with Dignity Policy, helping citizens and carers adopt safe, person-centred moving and handling practices. Working closely with Occupational Therapists, care providers, health colleagues, commissioning teams, and families, you will:
