Job summary

Wrexham County Borough Council is seeking a Contract Compliance Officer to join the Housing Department and ensure works meet standard documents, regulations and internal policies. You will be responsible for contract management, property surveys, detailing scopes of works, and supervising key projects within the housing portfolio.

The successful candidate will work within the Environmental Team to deliver improvement schemes for housing stock and help drive service delivery.

Job description

The Housing Department are now working towards delivering the Welsh Housing Quality Standard 2023, this is an exciting post that focuses on a wide range of works within the Council’s housing stock.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Contract Compliance Officer to join our professional team.The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that works comply with standard documents, regulations, and internal policies.This role involves a mix of contract management, property surveys, detailing scope of works, site visits and supervision of key projects to ensure that Wrexham Council’s Housing portfolio meets all the requirements of its contract holders and works are completed to a high standard.

The successful candidate will work within the Environmental Team to assist in the delivery of improvement schemes to our housing stock. It is an exciting opportunity to assist in driving the service forward.
