This is an exciting opportunity to join the Human Resources & Organisational Development Service as a Workforce Development Adviser.
As part of a dynamic and supportive Workforce Development Team, you will provide high quality advice and guidance on routine workforce development enquiries, supporting colleagues across a wide range of learning and development activities. You will also play a key role in providing technical systems support and administrative coordination to ensure the effective delivery of workforce development services.
Our Workforce Development Team leads on corporate learning and development across the organisation and supports the Social Care Sector Training and Development Programme for both Council and external sector employees. This important area of work is funded through the Social Care Wales Workforce Development Programme (SCWWDP).
We are looking for a motivated and organised individual with experience of working in a business support, technical support or administrative role, ideally within an HR, Learning & Development or Organisational Development environment. You will be able to manage a varied workload, demonstrate excellent attention to detail and provide a high standard of customer focused support. The successful candidate will have strong organisational and communication skills, be confident in using workforce development systems and processes and you will be a committed team player who supports the development of our workforce and contributing to the success of the wider HR & OD team.
