Husqvarna Group, based at the Newton Aycliffe site in the UK, is seeking a detail‑oriented Production Planner to create, maintain, and optimise production schedules. The role sits in the Planning team overseeing mould shop planning, with flexibility to work from home one day per week.

You will work with Production, Materials, Engineering, Quality, and others to ensure demand and supply are balanced, and volumes meet customer specifications while maintaining high standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning and scheduling in manufacturing.
• Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Practical experience with ERP/MRP systems and master data management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proactive problem solving with a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsabilités

• Support the Planning team with accurate reporting, performance analysis, and KPI tracking.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of the JDE ERP system and master data governance.
• Own and improve the Moulding Build Plan with cross-functional collaboration.
• Coordinate production activities aligning with material availability and capacity.
• Provide cover for planning activities to ensure continuity of service.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and ensure on-time delivery and quality.
• Work with stakeholders to drive process improvements and cost reduction.
• Ensure system changes and master data updates align with objectives.
• Participate in Engineering Change projects and NPI with resource planning.
• Support obsolescence projects with planning and cross-functional coordination.
• Maintain clear communication across functions to manage priorities and risks.
• Contribute to standardisation and efficiency improvements in planning.
