Job summary

Andy File Associates Ltd is recruiting a Machine Operative to join their client in moulding. The role involves loading and unloading a moulding machine, ensuring production runs safely and efficiently, and keeping a clean and organised workspace.

You will work on rotating weekly shifts from 6am to 2.06pm and 2pm to 10.06pm, flexibly supporting other areas of production. The position is temporary and offers a rate of £13.50 per hour, with PPE and health and safety induction provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, production or machine operating preferred, training may be provided.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Able to follow instructions and procedures.
• Physically capable of loading and unloading materials/products.
• Team player with a flexible approach to supporting different areas of the business.

Responsibilities

• Load raw materials into the moulding machine.
• Unload finished products and check quality.
• Operate machinery safely and in line with procedures.
• Monitor production and report issues or defects.
• Carry out basic quality checks on finished products.
• Maintain clean, tidy work area and PPE compliance.
• Assist with packing and dispatch when required.
• Support other production areas as needed.
• Work as part of a team to meet production targets.
