Andy File Associates Ltd is seeking a Machine Operative to load and unload a moulding machine, ensuring safe, smooth production in a busy environment.

Working shifts 6am-2.06pm and 2pm-10.06pm, this temporary role offers hands-on training and the chance to develop within a manufacturing team; safety shoes are required and a full induction is provided.

Competenze

• Experience in manufacturing/production/machine operation preferred, with training provided.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Health & Safety conscious and able to follow instructions.
• Quality-focused with good attention to detail.
• Physically capable of loading/unloading materials.

Mansioni

• Load materials/components into the moulding machine.
• Unload finished products and inspect for quality.
• Operate machinery safely per procedures and PPE rules.
• Monitor production and report issues to supervisor.
• Assist with packaging and dispatch as needed.
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace and store materials properly.

Machine Operative – Moulding £13.50p/h

Expected to be temporary till at least Xmas.

6am - 2.06pm and 2pm - 10.06pm on a rotating weekly shift 38 hours paid a week

Our client is looking for a Machine Operative to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading a moulding machine, ensuring production runs safely and efficiently, whilst maintaining a clean and organised working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading raw materials/components into the moulding machine.
• Unloading finished products from the machine and checking them for quality.
• Operating machinery safely and in accordance with company procedures.
• Monitoring the production process and reporting any issues or defects to the supervisor.
• Carrying out basic quality checks on finished products.
• Following all company Health & Safety procedures and wearing the required PPE.
• Keeping the machine, work area and surrounding environment clean, tidy and free from hazards.
• Ensuring materials and finished products are stored correctly.
• Assisting with packing and preparing finished products for dispatch when required.
• Supporting other areas of production as and when required.
• Working as part of a team to achieve production and quality targets.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience working in a manufacturing, production or machine operating environment, although full training may be provided for the right person.

You will need to be:

• Reliable and punctual.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Health & Safety conscious.
• Able to follow instructions and production procedures.
• Quality-focused with good attention to detail.
• Physically capable of loading and unloading materials/products.
• A good team player with a flexible approach to supporting different areas of the business.
