Genesis Employment Services Ltd is seeking a Moulding Line Operative to join a production team on the moulding line, ensuring safe, efficient operation and high-quality output. You will work as part of a 9-12 person team across sections such as multi-rip saw, moulder, sanding, vacuum coating and spray cabin.

One month of training on days is provided. After training, you will transition to PM shifts: Mon-Thu 15:00-00:00; Fri 12:00-18:00, with a £10 shift allowance.

Qualificações

• Must be able to follow technical drawings and quality procedures.
• 1 month training provided on days.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate multi-rip saw and feed materials.
• Set up moulder with diamond cutters per drawings.
• Operate sanding station with abrasive wheels.
• Operate vacuum coating system for base coat.
• Operate spray cabin for final coat.
• Prepare bundles and packs in packing section.

The Moulding Line Operative is responsible for operating and supporting one of the production sections within a moulding line, working as part of a team of approximately 9-12 employees to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on the section allocated, responsibilities may include:

• Multi-Rip Saw: Setting up the multi-rip shaft and feeding materials into the machine.
• Moulder: Setting up the moulder with diamond cutters in accordance with the provided technical drawings.
• Sanding Station: Setting up and operating the sanding station using the appropriate abrasive wheels.
• Vacuum Coating System: Setting up and operating the vacuum system to apply an even base coat of paint across the product.
• Spray Cabin: Setting up and operating the spray cabin to apply the final coat of paint.
• Packing Section: Setting up the packing area and preparing bundles and full packs in accordance with production requirements.

Training Schedule

1 month training on days

• Monday - Thursday: 07:00-16:00
• Friday: 07:00-13:00

After training, PM shift

• Monday - Thursday: 15:00 - 00:00
• Friday: 12:00 - 18:00
• £10 shift allowance

Full training will be provided for the allocated section, including machine operation, setup procedures, quality checks and safe working practices. The role may also offer opportunities to develop skills across other sections of the production line
