Job summary

Jacob Thomas Associates in Shepshed, Leicestershire, is seeking Moulding Operatives to join the Production Department. Initial training will be provided, after which permanent roles will be offered.

You will work on moulding machinery, support daily production, follow site procedures to maintain quality, and learn set-up, moulding, and de-moulding techniques. The role offers weekly pay, canteen facilities, free parking, and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• No previous moulding experience required; manufacturing background advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside experienced technicians setting up and operating moulding machinery
• Support the day-to-day moulding production activities in the manufacturing area
• Ensure site procedures are followed to help maintain quality and consistency
• Follow comprehensive training plans for setup, raw material preparation, and de-moulding techniques
• Cleaning and preparing equipment
• Learn to use basic precision measuring tools
• Adhering to company Health & Safety procedures

Job Title; Moulding Operatives

Salary; £13.72 per hour then £15.11 per hour on shifts

Perm Salary; £29,469.91 per annum (inc shift premium)

Shift Pattern; Days: 5.45am-1.45pm Mon-Fri. Afternoons: 1.45pm-10.15pm Mon-Thur and 1.45pm-7.15pm Fri. Shift rotates weekly.

Commutable from; Loughborough, Coalville, Mountsorrel, Barrow upon Soar, Syston, Leicester

• No previous moulding experience is required however experience in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage
