This role is categorized as onsite, requiring reporting to Concord, NC on a full-time basis.

The Role

We seek a highly skilled Senior Data Processing Engineer to join the Aero Innovation team within the Motorsports Aerodynamic Department. Your main responsibility will be developing complex data pipelines and systems to support aerodynamics development for motorsport and high-performance vehicles. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to design, develop, and optimize solutions to technical challenges, contributing significantly to our competitiveness and innovation.

What You’ll Do

• Architect, design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for large data volumes from multiple sources.
• Collaborate with data engineers and other teams to integrate data from various platforms and systems.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and quality through automated validation and monitoring.
• Identify and optimize performance bottlenecks in data workflows.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable code adhering to best practices.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• 5+ years in data engineering or related industry experience.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, Java.
• Experience with Kafka, Flink, Databricks.
• Knowledge of distributed systems like SLURM, LSF.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (SQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure cloud platforms.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
