Job summary

Tech Connect Group in Banbury is seeking a Design Engineer to join a fast-moving motorsport-focused team. You will contribute to rapid design cycles and composite development, helping establish the company’s founding engineering group as it expands into aerospace and defence programs.

The role targets junior to mid-level engineers, with CATIA V5 (NX a plus) and a strong pace-under-pressure mindset. Hybrid on-site work in Banbury, with flexi time and a dynamic start-up culture.

Qualifications

• Design engineering background from motorsport or Composite Material Science.
• Experience with fast-paced, quick-turnaround design in motorsport.
• Composites experience is advantageous but not essential for the right engineer.
• Proficiency in CATIA V5; NX experience also considered.
• Willingness to develop into more technical projects over time.

Responsibilities

• Support fast-paced motorsport design work with quick turnaround demands.
• Work across composite design and development.
• Contribute to a founding engineering team as one of its first hires.
• Support wider aerospace and defence programmes as the team develops.
