Job summary

Tech Connect Group is partnering with a leading high-performance composites business launching a new advanced technologies division for aerospace and defence. We seek an experienced Design Engineer to tackle long-term, complex composite design work and contribute to founding the engineering team.

The role spans aerospace/defence and occasional motorsport projects; CATIA V5 (NX) proficiency is required. Applicants in the UK only; no sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Composite Materials Science experience.
• R&D background in F1, Aerospace, Defence or similar.
• Ability to lead the more technical side of design work.
• Composites experience a strong advantage, but not essential for the right engineer.
• Design pedigree and capability are the priority.
• CATIA V5 proficiency required; NX also considered.

Responsibilities

• Own the more technical side of design on long-term aerospace and defence programmes.
• Work across complex composite design and development.
• Contribute to a founding engineering team and help shape how the function is built.
• Flex into faster-paced motorsport projects when required.
