Job summary

Prodrive seeks two motivated engineering students for a 12-month Industrial Placement in our Chassis and Powertrain Design teams. You will contribute to cutting-edge motorsport projects and gain practical experience within a world-class engineering environment.

Under the guidance of senior engineers, you will develop CAD models, run simulations, and participate in testing and documentation efforts to deliver robust designs that meet performance and reliability goals.

Qualifications

• This placement targets Mechanical or Automotive Engineering students.
• Strong CAD skills and a keen interest in motorsport are essential.
• Proactive learner with good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and development of components for high-performance vehicles.
• Utilise CAD to create models and drawings.
• Conduct simulations and analyses to ensure performance and reliability.
• Prepare technical documentation and design reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate designs.
