Job summary

Prodrive is seeking an undergraduate Industrial Placement student to assist with reliability, performance, and innovation across Motorsport programmes. You will contribute to data and software system development, working alongside leading engineers on GT race cars, Dakar, and Rally Raid projects.

You will gain real-world experience through challenges, collaboration, and accountability while developing technical knowledge and broadening perspectives in a world-champion motorsport environment.

Qualifications

• Currently studying for an accredited engineering degree (Automotive/Motorsport preferred).
• Familiarity with MS Office and general troubleshooting is advantageous.
• Knowledge of CAN, LIN and Ethernet protocols is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage electronic systems and software updates for Prodrive Motorsport products.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate vehicle-wide control systems.
• Forecast electrical and electronic changes with championship organisers to stay compliant.
• Develop control strategies and support in-vehicle electronic systems troubleshooting.
• Support vehicle architecture and model-based function development.
