Job summary

Rise Search Limited is seeking a Design Engineer in the UK to develop 3D CAD models and detailed drawings for bespoke motorsport safety and structural solutions. You will support builds and production across Automotive OEM work to top-tier motorsport programmes.

The role requires strong CAD experience with SolidWorks / Fusion 360 / Inventor, plus knowledge of CMM systems and a mechanical engineering background. Flexible working and a competitive package are on offer.

Qualifications

Proven CAD experience and ability to read/produce engineering drawings.
Minimum HNC in Mechanical Engineering; HND/degree preferred.
Knowledge or understanding of CMM systems is advantageous.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and numeracy skills.
Excellent verbal/written communication and IT skills with good organisation.
Team player with attention to detail; motorsport interest is a plus.

Responsibilities

Create 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings for bespoke motorsport safety and structural solutions.
Support builds and production for automotive OEM and top-tier motorsport programmes.
Collaborate with engineering, production and fabrication teams throughout the design process.
Maintain clear communication with customers and colleagues across departments.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the business.
Adapt to a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
