Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is assisting a growing manufacturer in Daventry to hire a Mechanical Design Engineer. You will develop mechanical designs for Roll Cages, Tubular Chassis and Tubular Systems for high-performance vehicles while learning and growing within a specialist motorsport environment.

The role requires 3D CAD experience and a mechanical design background. You will work Monday–Friday with flexible hours and opportunities for progression and training.

Qualifications

• Experience with 3D CAD for automotive structures.
• Background in mechanical design for roll cages and tubular chassis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Completing the mechanical designs for Roll Cages, Tubular Chassis and Tubular Systems.
• Preparing technical reports and specifications.
• Collaborating with the manufacturing department to ensure project delivery.

Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer who is looking for an exciting opportunity to join a growing manufacturer of custom automotive parts, where you can not only develop your skillset but your career as well?

The Company are a growing manufacturer who specialise in the manufacturing of Roll Cages, Tubular Chassis and Suspension parts for the motorsport industry. Since launching, they have built a large client base through their unique approach and their ability to collaborate with other motorsport teams.

The successful candidate will be learning to work on high–performance vehicles where you will be completing the mechanical designs for their internal structures and tubular systems.

This role would suit a Design Engineer from a mechanical background who is looking for an opportunity within a specialist company that can provide an excellent environment for your skills to grow.

The Role:

• Completing the mechanical designs for Roll Cages, Tubular Chassis and Tubular Systems.
