Job summary

Jago Consultants seeks a Parts Advisor for a motor garage in the Ashford area of Kent. Salary is around £27,000 plus a bonus of about £2,500. Hours are 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with every other Saturday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.

The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service in a busy parts department, supporting Workshop, and handling trade parts including export sales. You will manage goods-in, stock checks, rotations, returns, and liaise with Service on parts matters.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Parts Advisor
• Excellent customer handling skills are essential
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and teamwork are important

Responsibilities

• Deliver unrivalled levels of customer service in a busy parts department
• Maintain a high level of service to the Workshop and handle trade parts including export sales
• Deal with goods-in, parts identification, order processing, stock checking and stock rotation
• Liaise with Service on parts related matters; parts verification can be beneficial
• Interact with customers professionally and personally
