Job summary

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a Technician - Motor Vehicle on a full-time permanent basis at the Berkshire College of Agriculture campus in Maidenhead. The role entails supporting practical teaching, supervising demonstrations, and preparing equipment for lessons.

The successful candidate will hold a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject, plus Level 2 English and maths, with workshop-based experience.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject area.
• Level 2 English and maths.
• Experience working in a workshop-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in induction of students and support learning through demonstrations and supervision.
• Help lecturing staff with practical demonstrations and instructions; prepare equipment and materials for lessons.
• Maintain safe learning environment; conduct risk assessments and ensure equipment maintenance and servicing.
• Participate in college events (parents' evenings, recruitment, trade events, open days) and contribute to marketing efforts.
