Job summary

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a Technician - Motor Vehicle at the Berkshire College of Agriculture Campus. The role is full-time, permanent, 37 hours per week, on a G17–G19 salary scale (£25,483 up to £27,284) with a focus on delivering safe, practical teaching and student support.

The technician will assist with demonstrations, prepare equipment and materials, and help maintain a safe, welcoming learning environment while engaging in campus events and recruitment activities.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject area
• Level 2 English and maths
• Experience working in a workshop-based environment

Responsibilities

• Assist in the induction of students and help lecturing staff with practical demonstrations and instructions
• Prepare equipment and materials for lessons
• Support learning through demonstrations and supervision
• Maintain a safe learning environment by following safe working practices and conducting risk assessments
• Manage supplies, parts and consumables and keep learning areas clean and organised
• Participate in events such as parents' evenings, recruitment, trade events and open days
