Job summary

White Raven Resourcing Ltd is seeking a Warranty Claims Handler in Birchwood, United Kingdom, to manage processing of warranty claims up to £700. You will liaise with dealerships and policy holders by phone and email, making decisions in line with policy terms and GDPR.

Qualifications

• IT - General PC Skills and experience of using Microsoft Office applications.
• General Knowledge - Basic knowledge of motor vehicles.
• Communication - Clear and effective communication with colleagues and clients.
• Planning/Organisation - Efficient time management to meet objectives and SLAs.
• Teamwork - Collaborative work with colleagues, supervisors and management.
• Problem Solving - Identify causes and apply appropriate solutions to minimize impact.
• People Skills - Active listening, empathy and reliability in customer interactions.
• Product Knowledge - Knowledge of current UK warranties and terms and conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assess/Re-assess each incoming warranty claim under the value of £700 and decide whether to authorise or decline.
• Contact dealerships or policy holders by phone and email to reach the correct decision and explain reasons for declines.
• Provide high levels of service to policy holders, dealerships and partners in line with policy and GDPR.
• Record all information relating to each claim in the claim management system, including the decision.
• Support the Incident Managers and Technicians as required.
• Adhere to all contractual SLAs.
