Job summary

Stoneacre Motor Group is seeking a skilled Motor Vehicle Technician to service, repair and diagnose vehicles in a modern workshop, ensuring workmanship of the highest standard. You will work with a dedicated team and use manufacturer and brand standards to deliver quality results.

Qualifications

• Level 2 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• EV/Hybrid qualification advantageous with training provided
• MOT licence beneficial but not essential
• Hold a full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Servicing, repair and diagnostics of customers' vehicles to an exemplary standard in a state-of-the-art workshop
• Complete service paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards
• Provide diagnostic reports on customers' vehicles
• Complete service documentation including job sheets, PDIs and service reports
• Check level and quality of work using diagnostic equipment and road testing

An average day as Motor Vehicle Technician... About you...

We consider candidates from all backgrounds who have experience working in the Automotive sector within a technical role

• As a minimum, you will be qualified to Level 2 NVQ, or equivalent, in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• You will have fantastic communication skills and thrive working in a challenging yet rewarding environment
• You will have the ability to work well under pressure - It will be your technical ability that will help you overcome any challenge that is thrown your way.
• An Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided
• MOT Licence would also be beneficial but not essential
• Hold a full UK driving licence
