AutoSkills (United Kingdom) is seeking a fully qualified Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester to join our award-winning Volvo dealership in Huddersfield. This is a full-time, permanent role where you will service, diagnose, repair, and MOT test vehicles to the highest manufacturer standards.

The position offers a basic salary of £35,000 with realistic earnings up to £50,000 OTE, ongoing Volvo manufacturer training, and excellent employee benefits.

Qualifikationen

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Valid MOT Tester Licence.
• Ideally 5 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician within the automotive industry.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence.

• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults accurately.
• Performing MOT Tests in line with DVSA standards.

THE ROLE

As a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester, you'll be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and MOT testing while ensuring every vehicle is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest manufacturer standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repair work on customer vehicles
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults accurately
• Performing MOT Tests in line with DVSA standards
• Completing vehicle health checks and identifying additional work where required

ABOUT YOU

We're keens to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Valid MOT Tester Licence
• Ideally 5 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician within the automotive industry
• Strong servicing, maintenance, and diagnostic skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
• A positive attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence
