Job summary

Northbrook College is seeking a Lecturer in Motor Vehicle at our Shoreham campus. You will deliver practical teaching across Entry Level to Level 3 Motor Vehicle and Motorsport programmes, developing learners’ knowledge, skills and professionalism to prepare them for industry careers.

The role involves planning, assessing and giving constructive feedback while collaborating with employers to keep the curriculum industry-relevant and up-to-date with automotive technologies.

Qualifications

• Current or recent industry experience within the automotive, motorsport or vehicle maintenance sector.
• Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for developing people and ability to motivate learners from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, practical and inspiring teaching across Entry Level to Level 3 Motor Vehicle and Motorsport programmes.
• Prepare learners for successful careers by developing technical knowledge, practical competence and professional behaviours.
• Plan, assess and monitor learner progress, providing high-quality feedback to help each student reach potential.
• Work with colleagues and employers to maintain an industry-relevant curriculum reflecting current automotive technologies and employer needs.
